FAQS

Frequently asked questions

Does your work come with a guarantee?

All of our work comes with a 10-year guarantee. We use Kolorbond paint which is ‘guaranteed to last 10-years’ after proper application. Our sprayers follow strict processes to guarantee the quality of finish and longevity of the paint. To find out more about our processes click here.

What colours can I choose from?

The possibilities are endless when it comes to your choice of colour, as we can make custom colour combinations for you. Some of our most popular colour choices from our clients include; Anthracite Grey, Slate Grey, Graphite Black, Chartwell Green or Pure White. We can also mix majority of the Farrow & Ball and Little Green Man colour ranges.

How long does it take?

Most projects can be completed in one day from cleaning and prepping, spraying, siliconing and reaching completion. Prior to starting a project we assess and quote the length of time it will take to complete the project. If it is anticipated that the project will take longer than a day, we will plan all logistics and timings with you before any work commences. Our highly skilled and experienced teams work to the highest level of professionalism to cause as little disruption as possible to you at your home.

What type of finish will the paint have?

You can choose between matte, satin or gloss finishes. Matte has 0% shine, satin has 30% shine and gloss has 80% shine. The most common option is satin however it is very much down to preference. If the substrate is smooth the finish will be smooth once we have applied the new paint. If the substrate has a woodgrain effect this will remain after the new paint has been applied.

Do you need to remove my windows & doors?

No we spray everything on-site fixed in place. This means there are no issues trying to put this back together. You will need to open your windows and doors so we can mask up.

What materials can you spray paint?

We generally spray uPVC, PVC, composites, cladding, metal, wood and kitchens. However we can spray most surfaces so if you have something you’re unsure about just drop us a message.

How do you access upstairs windows?

To be compliant with health and safety regulations we need a stable footing to spray paint UPVC windows and UPVC trim above ground level. Depending on the height of the window, we will use a stable ladder or erect a small scaffolding platform.

Do you tidy up before you leave?

We always tidy up after ourselves and leave no waste at your property. We dispose of all materials used in the spray-painting process, including masking tape, paper and sheeting.

Do I need to be in while you work?

No you don’t need to be in however we do need access to the property to open windows and doors in order to mask up and spray. If you have pets, we ask that you keep them away from the spray zone while we’re working. This is particularly important with cats.

Can you paint damaged / cracked uPVC?

We can only paint undamaged UPVC so the paint can form a durable bond with the plastic, and for us to provide you with our 10-year guarantee. We can sometimes paint repaired UPVC as long as it’s been repaired to a like new standard.
